BRIEF BIOGRAPHIES

Candidate(s) for President

Perry Ashby

I am retired from the U. S. Air Force. My Career consisted of being a Combat Photographer, Aerial Photographer plus I was a Motion Picture/TV Production Superintendent. After retiring from the USAF, I started a 2nd career with Northrop Grumman. I managed all of the media production for the B-2 Stealth Bomber and the F-35 Joint Strike fighter training. I helped train the Pilots and Maintenance personnel to be able to fly and fix these sophisticated and amazing aircraft. I did that for an additional 20 years and retired 4 ½ years ago.

I have been on the Board of Directors of the TCA for about three years. I served in one of the “Member at Large” positions for most of that time. Just recently I have served as the Vice President and the Acting President. When our past President vacated his position suddenly, I accepted the position of “Acting President” in order to provide continuity and leadership.

Additionally, I have been in charge of the Talavera Propane Coop since its inception 3 years ago. We have been able to leverage our Community consumer power to bring some real savings to the entire Community. We live in a great community and I have been grateful to try and help out wherever and whenever I can.
