Soledad Canyon Road Project Completion

Perry Ashby, TCA President, has been communicating with County Commissioner Shannon Reynolds about when we can expect the Soledad Canyon Road Project to be completed. He wanted Perry to share with the Community the latest status. Looks like the Soledad Canyon road project took a wrong turn. The Federal government gave them an extension of 16 Days because of weather to complete the project. They are going to miss that and start paying penalties sometime this month. They were supposed to be done by the end of June. The company doing the work will be paying about $4k per day

PRC Votes 3-2 in Favor of Talavera Substation

PRC District 5 Commissioner Stephen Fischmann reports: Last Wednesday, (5/1/2019) the (PRC) commission voted 3-2 to allow the Talavera substation build out. I did manage to gain acknowledgement from at least two commissioners that the process for approving and building substations and electric distribution lines deserves review based on the fact that EPE distribution investment has grown over 80% in the last decade while actual energy delivered to retail customers has increased only 15%.
