Semi Annual Clean-UP, Pot-Luck and Meeting

The Semi-Annual neighborhood cleanup, sponsored by the TCA, will take place on Saturday, September 15, 2007. All Talavera area residents who would like to participate in the cleanup, should meet at the fire station at 9:00 AM.

We will have our pot-luck dinner Saturday afternoon at the fire station. The dinner will start at 5:30 PM and the regular meeting will follow at 6:00 PM.

Currently  we plan to discuss the flood control situation, and possibly forming a committee to keep us updated andd informed. There has also been a proposal to look at the issues surrounding the possibility of incorporating our community and a proposal to form a committee to look into the legal issues of doing that. We also expect to hear an update on the Dripping Springs Road project. We have extended an invitation to Senator Lee Rawson to speak to us and take questions. Senator Rawson has not yet committed to attending the meeting, but indicates that he would like to attend. I am sure that this will be an interesting and informative meeting.
