County Postpones Publication of Proposed UDC
Many, many thanks to all who sent letters and emails to County Commissioners and Community Development Department employees in support of postponing the publication of the Proposed UDC to be voted on November 29th, 2016.
Talavera residents attended the BOCC meeting, October 25th, in throng, to voice their objection to the proposed UDC as it stands. [[[[[A special thanks to all those attendees.]]]]] After hearing public opinion, three of our County Commissioners voted to postpone publication.
The TCA Board, Talavera, Organ Mesa, and surrounding property and land owners, are grateful for Comm. Ben Rawson’s support in getting the UDC publishing stalled until further examination and revisions are made. Thanks also to Commissioners’ David Garcia and Leticia Duarte-Benavidez for responding to public outcry and joining Comm. Rawson in voting to postpone publication.
